Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise telecom and network engineering experience.
  • Expert-level understanding of telephony (PBX, VoIP, SIP) and data networking.
  • Extensive Asterisk experience (or equivalent enterprise PBX) at the architecture and programming level.
  • Advanced experience configuring and troubleshooting network switches, dynamic routing (OSPF or equivalent), and QoS for voice.
  • Experience leading and owning Webex Calling, Webex Contact Center, and Microsoft Teams Calling.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Sales / Business stakeholders on contact center design, M&A integration, or executive-level technical briefings.
  • Experience leading multi-region / LATAM project delivery; bilingual English / Spanish a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technically, mentor others, manage complex projects, and act as a vendor and carrier escalation point.

Additional Information

The Voice & Network Engineer IV serves as the Subject Matter Expert and highest individual contributor in the Telecom / Network organization. This role provides expert-level support across enterprise telephony (PBX, VoIP, SIP, Asterisk), networking (switching, dynamic routing including OSPF or equivalent, QoS), and cloud calling platforms (Webex, Teams). The SME is the final technical escalation point, leads high-impact projects, owns vendor and carrier negotiations, and provides backup coverage for the Telephony / Network Team Manager. The role partners directly with the Sales / Business organization on contact center solution design, M&A integration scoping, and executive briefings, and owns multi-region project delivery across the Americas including LATAM. Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus. Contributes to standards, documentation, and long-term technical strategy across TD SYNNEX's global Technology Infrastructure organization.
