About the role

With exciting plans to rejuvenate our Banquet, Events and F&B operations, we are seeking a results-driven Assistant F&B Manager to join our passionate team and help elevate RSYC's dining and events experience. If you are a people-person who thrives on creating memorable dining and event experiences, this is your chance to shine. You'll help transform our Ballroom (15 tables × 10 seats) into a preferred venue for weddings, seminars, product launches and team-building events, while boosting sales across our outlets - The Wharf, Beacon and Mess Bar. With 60 hotel rooms on site, you'll also have the unique advantage to craft and sell attractive stay-and-dine packages for both members and corporate clients. Job Description Drive banquet and event sales through proactive marketing, networking and client engagement. Develop creative F&B promotions and event packages combining our restaurants, bars and hotel facilities. Support the F&B Manager in day-to-day operations and act as second-in-command in their absence. Lead and motivate service teams to deliver exceptional experiences to members and guests. Collaborate closely with the Marketing Communications and Front Office teams to maximise sales opportunities. Oversee banquet set-ups, event execution and post-event follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Hospitality, F&B or Events Management.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in F&B operations and banquet/event sales, preferably in clubs or hotels.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Outgoing, resourceful, and confident in both operations and sales presentations.
  • Hands-on leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
