Responsibilities
- Assist the Operator A in the operation and oversight of Power Plant equipment and remotely controlled systems.
- Independently operate Power Plant boilers with minimal supervision.
- Support the start-up or shutdown of equipment as part of routine operations or in emergency situations.
- Perform chemical water analysis and adjust treatment levels as required.
- Log and document plant activities accurately using Shift Connector and other systems.
- Provide support for plant reliability, safety, and efficiency across all shifts.

- Education & Training
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum).
- One-year technical certificate or training from a college/technical school (preferred).
Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in utilities, power generation, or industrial systems.
- Certifications & Skills
- Must obtain a Visible Emissions Certificate within six months of hire and maintain annually.
- Proficiency with distributed control system software.
- Competence in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Assetworks (AiM), including mobile applications.
- Ability to use Shift Connector for documentation and navigation.
- Strong technical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
