- Job Specific Duties:
- Communicates effectively with others while maintaining discretion, courtesy and an understanding of patient privacy.
- Maintains visual observation of assigned patient(s) and as applicable to assigned area(s). Verbally redirects patient accordingly and contacts appropriate personnel per department procedure and protocol as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Provides care to patient based on the treatment plan and within scope of practice as applicable to assigned area(s). Multitasks and prioritizes simultaneous situations.
- Ensures patient environment safety and seeks assistance per department procedure.
- Works with the nursing staff to set and maintain patient care, work priorities and a changing workload.
- Adheres and upholds all organizational customer service policies and standards while caring for patients and interacting with others.
- Exhibits a good working knowledge of instruments, equipment, etc. as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Removes contaminated materials and properly cleans surfaces per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Performs stocking and restocking of supplies as applicable to assigned area(s).
- As applicable to Activities assignment:
- Assesses patient for relevant physical and cognitive abilities that may affect personalized activity programs.
- Designs activities for patients of different abilities, personal preferences, and individual and/or group settings.
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

- Day Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America)
- Schedule: 3/12hr Days/Week
- Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
