Welder 1st Shift: 7am - 430pm, M-F Additional overtime available as business needs increase Compensation: $19-20 per hour *Will be required to do a basic weld test during interview. (T-joint Horizontal Weld & Butt Joint Pipe Weld)* Purpose of Role: Our Welders are responsible for Mig welding, using spray arc transfer processes to weld pipes, cyclones, and other applications. Essential Job Functions: Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. Inspects and measures machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications. Remove rough spots from work pieces, using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers. Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or spatter, using hand scrapers or power chippers, portable grinders, or arc-cutting equipment. Weld components in flat and vertical welding positions. Examines finished work pieces to verify conformance with specifications Operate and maintain robotic welding equipment Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as needed Monitor the welding process to ensure quality and accuracy Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment Follow instructions and/or direction given by supervisors to complete assigned work projects Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
