About the role
As a Transducer Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within the Automotive Audio Division. You will be responsible for transducer development for in-vehicle applications, including virtual design (simulation), sample validation, and cost efficiency analysis. Responsibilities
- Support NPD/R&D projects and facilitate transducer engineers for all transducer engineering activities.
- Participate in the development of common work practices, procedures, and design standards with other audio systems design groups.
- Ensure that the necessary documentation is provided that defines and verifies transducer designs. Documentation includes sketches, BOMs, analytical/modeling data, acoustic data sheets, DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, etc.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in world-class best practices in relation to audio product design, development, modeling / analysis, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Setting objectives, measuring performance, conducting appraisals, and developing engineers through coaching and counseling.
- Proven experience working with a team of transducer, materials manufacturing, test, quality, and supplier engineering members and coordinating activities among team members with either a direct or indirect reporting structure.
- What You Need to be Successful
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience in transducer design.
- Knowledge/use of various modeling/analysis/FEA packages (e.g., Magnet, ANSYS).
- Experience of leading project teams.
- Understanding of world-class best practices in transducer design, development, and manufacturing techniques.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in English.

- Detail-oriented: Demonstrated ability from theoretical to implementation-based thinking.
