Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: The physical demands on the job are strenuous in respect that it is necessary to climb vertical ladders, work off pneumatic lifts, inside cramped spaces. The incumbent may be required to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, and work in awkward positions for prolonged periods. The incumbent handles carry equipment, materials and tools weighing up to fifty (50) pounds. Incumbent will be required to stoop, crawl, and climb over duct work and piping while working on equipment. Occasionally lifts and carry objects over ninety (90) pounds, with the assistance of others or lifting devices. The work can sometimes require strenuous physical exertion, climbing ladders and scaffolds, and in general have use of his/her limbs. He/she must visit all those areas where subordinates will be working for the purpose of instruction an and machinery. d/or inspection. The incumbent may routinely work around and be required to operate mobile heavy equipment. Incumbent works indoors/outdoors, uncontrolled environments, in inclement weather conditions and in confined or uncomfortable spaces.
