Sr. Technical Program Manager, Ring

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to drive critical initiatives across Ring org. The right candidate will have both a strong technical background and demonstrated experience in technical management or program/product management. You will partner with engineers, TPMs, Product Managers, and senior leadership to create world-class solutions that delight millions of customers globally. Requirements

• Lead cross-functional program execution, partnering with engineering, product, and business teams to deliver customer-facing features and foundational services
• Drive architectural decisions and technical planning for complex, large-scale systems handling massive data sets and ML model serving
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs balancing customer needs, business requirements, and technical constraints
• Break down large, complex projects into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications, and deliver them successfully and on time
• Coordinate and plan across multiple teams, finding technical solutions that span services and applications
• Cultivate relationships and earn trust with teams both inside and outside your organization, using diverse unblocking tools and mechanisms
• Lead Think Big processes, ensuring the organization looks around corners and plans the right investments
• Identify and create mechanisms that raise the bar on quality and speed of delivery
• Gather high-quality requirements and drive toward optimal architectural outcomes
• Track and communicate the path to delivery within and across the organization

• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
• Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design
• Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps
• Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
• Experience in software development
