Office: India based (Hybrid) - Travel (Internationally) may be required therefore access to major transport hub very desirable. Department: Technology Reports to: Head of Data Analytics & BI Development You will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of interactive client, investor and operational team facing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI and other visual analytics tools. You will work closely with clients and senior stakeholders to capture their BI requirements, conduct data analysis using SQL, Python (or other open-source languages), and visualise the insights in an impactful manner. Tasks (what does the role do on a day-to-day basis) You'll engage with external clients, vendors, project representatives, and internal stakeholders to gather analytics and dashboard requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. You'll maintain and enhance the existing BI database architecture, performing exploratory data analysis and defining business‑critical features to support advanced reporting and insights. You'll design and deliver best‑practice data warehouse and analytics solutions using on‑premise or cloud platforms, leveraging ETL/ELT tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Python, PowerShell, Alteryx, or other open‑source technologies. You'll optimise SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and views using dimensional data modelling principles to ensure efficient and reliable data retrieval. You'll manage tickets and delivery updates effectively, document analytics solutions and processes, and resolve IT and data issues-including legacy system challenges-through help desk and development requests.
