About the role

You will serve as a Program Analyst of COMMANDER NAVY REGION HAWAII. A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. For additional information, please refer to the Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), Chapter 5 Part B Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Provides Operations Directorate management support services in the areas of program cost analysis, annual/multi-year/long range fiscal planning and development of annual execution plans; 2) Develop accurate and cost effective budget plans to support current and future financial operations; 3) Oversees the Government Purchase Card Program execution within the Directorate and approves purchasing decisions based on need and availability of funds; 4) Reviews required travel documents, including authorizations and vouchers for payment to ensure compliance with travel regulations, policies, and procedures; 5) Conducts studies of employee/ organizational effectiveness, efficiency, productivity and cost, and recommends changes to improve organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures; and 6) Responsible for the coordination of special projects, which include coordinating actions, extracting and consolidating supporting data, clarifying responsibilities and timelines for completion.
