Senior Lab Engineer/Associate

Responsibilities

• Design protocols and interpret results to validate functional test methods
• Organize and perform Test Method Validation (TMV) activities
• Support lab engineers/associates in test method validation and lab-related tasks
• Critically review and interpret test protocols and testing plans to verify product requirements
• Collaborate closely with the Lab Supervisor in lab management and maintenance of procedures
• Perform and document verification and validation tests (NPD & SPO) across business units
• Conduct studies for disposables and container systems, supporting new product development - Identify and implement innovative solutions in test methods and equipment
• Execute procedures accurately and consistently, ensuring repeatability
• Review and document results in lab notebooks and data systems according to procedures
• Ensure compliance with Quality Systems and adhere to GLP/GDP requirements
• Present study results and findings clearly to relevant stakeholders
• Develop TMV protocols in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Maintain strong scientific and engineering knowledge
• Ensure a safe and orderly work environment; identify and mitigate potential hazards
• Train and supervise team members on relevant tasks
• Stay current with testing equipment and methodologies (e.g., tensile testing, measurement, sterilization)
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Strong English communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Ability to statistically analyze test results and prepare validation reports
• Knowledge of engineering principles relevant to assigned tasks
• Ability to compile clear written and graphical reports describing study results
• Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Materials) or related scientific field
