Accounts Executive, 1 year Contract

About the role

Accounts Executive position on a 1-year contract basis, responsible for month-end and year-end closing of accounts for assigned entities, handling timely posting and review of grant utilisation or project-based entries, and supporting financial statement preparation and audit activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end closing of accounts for assigned entities.
• Handle timely posting and review of grant utilisation or project-based entries. Ensure income recognition is aligned with expenses incurred.
• Review month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation and follow-up of monthly accounting schedules.
• Perform intercompany confirmation and intracompany reconciliation and follow up with relevant parties for timely closure.
• Support audit fieldwork by responding promptly to audit queries and providing required documentation.
• Assist in consolidation of accounts to support preparation of mid-year and year-end financial statements.
• Support ad hoc finance and accounting tasks as assigned.
• About you
• Minimum Diploma qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time management skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
