About the role
The Advanced UX team at General Motors is shaping the future of human-machine interaction by creating innovative, high-fidelity experiences that blend digital interfaces with physical controls. As a Senior Designer, Advanced UX, you will play a critical role in defining and prototyping next-generation in-vehicle experiences through a combination of interaction design, technical prototyping, and systems thinking. This role sits at the intersection of UX design and technical implementation, where concepts are brought to life through interactive prototypes that connect screen-based interfaces with physical inputs. You will leverage tools like Figma and ProtoPie to build advanced prototypes and integrate them with Arduino-based or similar systems to simulate real-world interaction models. Your work will help validate concepts, influence product direction, and communicate the vision for future mobility experiences.
