Responsibilities
- Manage monthly and quarterly lease accounting close activities, including preparation and posting of lease amortization journal entries for operating and finance leases under U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
- Prepare and review monthly and quarterly lease-related account reconciliations and roll-forwards.
- Review new lease contracts, amendments, renewals, and terminations to determine appropriate accounting treatment under ASC 842 and IFRS 16.

- Support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures related to leases under U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Analyze variances in lease-related balance sheet and income statement accounts and provide clear explanations to management.
- Support process improvements and enhancements to lease accounting workflows and reporting.
- Manage fixed asset accounting activities, if assigned, including preparing and maintaining fixed asset roll-forwards and supporting related financial statement disclosures, management reporting, and audit requests.
- Support additional general ledger accounting areas as business needs evolve.
- Collaborate effectively with various teams, subsidiaries, and external auditors to address queries and provide necessary information during audits.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience with lease accounting under ASC 842 and IFRS 16
- Minimum 4 years' experience in general ledger accounting, or similar
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Experience in working in an international company over multiple locations
- Demonstrated history of process improvements
- Prior experience working with Oracle will be an advantage
- Excellent communications skills in English
- Excellent analytical skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and other MS packages
