About the role

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-2 pay band (GS-11 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience with maintenance or modernization integration and management, including Work Notification management, tracking and closeout. 2) Mastery of program/project analysis and evaluation to conduct studies (concurrently or in sequence) that identify special program/project requirements. 3) Knowledge of Department of the Navy (DON) ship acquisition life cycle repair, overhaul, maintenance, modernization, production, material; process, ship systems and maintenance practices, procedures and periodicities to maintain operational readiness and availability. 4) Mastery of shipboard condition based maintenance concepts, principles and practices. 5) Skill in using a wide variety of fact finding techniques, including task analysis, work distribution and workflow charting, statistical work measurement studies, statistical and systems analysis. 6) Skill in using web based programs, databases and information systems used throughout the Navy repair and maintenance community. 7) Ability to operate independently as a fleet liaison and representative of SURFMEPP to provide analytical and evaluative advice on ship maintenance and modernization issues, programs, initiatives and contribute to increased knowledge, information sharing and improvements in ship maintenance practices and processes. 8) Ability to prepare well written documents and presentations and deliver presentations.
