Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and modelling of mechanical subsystems and payload. Preparation of preliminary design with layouts, sketches, testing requirements, materials, processes, and tools, define mechanical interfaces with other mechanical subsystems.
- Develop and maintain mechanical design documentation, manufacturing drawings, interface control drawings, test procedures and tooling (vibration, shock, TVAC, assembly).

Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. Higher degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design.
- Mechanical space subsystems and payload and/or other equivalent applications is a plus.
- Experience using PDM and PLM software is a plus.
- Knowledge in GDIT is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with other engineers.
- Flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
- Technology Stack:
- CAD software (Inventor is preferred).
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a standard office, laboratory, and manufacturing environment, including extended use of a computer and participation in assembly, integration, and testing activities requiring attention to detail and manual precision.
