Senior Calibration Engineer

About the role

You will join an automotive environment focused on xEV powertrains, where thermal management is critical for both vehicle performance and passenger comfort. In this role, you will work with the coordination of thermal energy across the powertrain and vehicle, covering areas such as the combustion engine, e-machine, transmission, power electronics, battery, and cabin. You will be part of turning complex system needs into calibrated, verified functions that meet demanding attribute targets. The role is especially interesting if you enjoy combining hands-on testing with system thinking in a technically advanced powertrain domain. Job DescriptionYou will perform calibration and verification activities on desktop, in engine rigs, and in vehicles. You will work with thermal energy coordination across different parts of the xEV powertrain and the passenger compartment. You will help control heating and cooling functions for the combustion engine, e-machine, transmission, power electronics, battery, and cabin. You will contribute to fulfilling attribute targets for both the powertrain and the complete vehicle. You will support system design work for future products across different applications. You may also contribute to function development in in-house application software and support topics related to oil pressure control. You will take part in testing in both vehicles and test cells, including test activities in varying climates and environments. RequirementsYou have worked with thermal management in applications with combustion or electrical powertrains. You have worked with both calibration and function development using Simulink. You hold a valid driving licence. Nice to haveExperience from function development in in-house application software. Experience related to oil pressure control.
