Environmental Control Officer

About the role

Job Descriptions: Implement and monitor environmental management plans for construction projects. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with environmental requirements. Monitor and manage environmental aspects including dust, noise, water pollution, waste management, and housekeeping. Ensure compliance with NEA regulations and project environmental requirements. Prepare and maintain environmental reports, records, inspection checklists, and documentation. Coordinate with project teams, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities on environmental matters. Conduct environmental briefings and promote environmental awareness among site personnel. Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions. Support environmental audits and inspections. Job Requirements:- Diploma / Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Construction, or related discipline. Possess a valid Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certification recognized by NEA. Must have held the ECO license for at least 5 years. Must possess Fundamental Course on Vector Management and Control certificate Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction environmental management. Experience working with A1 Main Contractors and large-scale construction projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of NEA environmental regulations, pollution control measures, and construction environmental practices. Familiar with environmental monitoring, waste management, noise, dust, and water pollution control. Able to conduct site inspections, prepare environmental reports, and coordinate with project teams, consultants, and authorities. Good communication skills with the ability to work independently.
