Provides general direction to site managers on the facilitation of regular site assessment and audit of mission-critical sites. Gives direction, supervises / oversees implementation by concerned groups of site-wide and area-wide full blown exercises. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Co-owns the BCM Program including relevant BCM processes and thereby takes full accountability for the successful implementation of the Program at the Division level. Coaches the assigned Groups or Divisions, facilitates and influences goal-oriented divisional BCM program planning; addresses and solves challenges in planning and execution; and ensures buy-in and ownership by Divisional Planners and Functional Champions of Divisional BCM Programs. Ensures and certifies that the functional Groups have BCM programs in place at any given time that are approved, well-documented, cascaded, regularly tested, updated and audited, and that the BCM Teams in such Groups are regularly trained. Drives and ensures that Groups perform the following regular BCM activities based on submitted and committed program calendars; reviews and challenges the outputs from said activities: o Plan updating (includes the conduct of Business Impact Analysis, Risk Assessment and Documentation updating) o Self-Assessment o Exercising o Intra-Division / Group Training and Awareness Continua vement (PACA [Preventive Action, Corrective Action], closure of audit findings, etc.) Implements BCMS in groups not currently included in the BCMS Scope. Issues PACA memos, reviews and approves recommended preventive and corrective actions; escalates to Group Heads open risk items. Certifies compliance by critical vendors with the company's BCM requirements In case of Sites being maintained by support groups: o Reviews and certifies the completion and correctness of Site Disaster Management Plans (SDMPs) o Implements BCMS in sites not currently included in the BCMS Scope o Reviews and approves exercising / test plans as well as results of exercises/tests for SDMPs. o Gives direction, supervises / oversees implementation by concerned groups of site-wide and area-wide full blown exercises o Provides general direction to site managers on the facilitation of regular site assessment and audit of mission-critical sites Reviews and approves exercising / test plans as well as results of exercises/tests for the Functional Business Continuity Plans of these groups, as well as the Crisis Communication Plan. Orchestrates the execution of the following enterprise-wide activities: o All employees as well as role-based Training programs o Awareness campaign Strictly enforces Documentation Control, including the establishment and management of the BCM e-portal. During Severity 1 and 0 incidents, liaises with respective Groups, under the direct supervision of the BCM Director, to ensure proper execution of plans. Ensures that processes of mission-critical teams are made much more efficient and easily "recoverable" in times of incidents through process improvement or reengineering projects.
