Discover more via our website. Your next career opportunity As Lecturer (Medical Education), you will lead clinical teaching and curriculum delivery in the MD program. You will deliver teaching activities, conduct assessments, support diverse students, and collaborate with Western Health to enhance learning. You will contribute to innovation across all clinical years and help graduate safe, capable doctors. What you will deliver: Lead clinical teaching in Principles of Clinical Practice or Transition to Practice across MD years. Design, refine, and coordinate MD curriculum content and learning experiences in partnership with Western Clinical School colleagues. Develop, deliver, and examine written and clinical assessments, including miniCEX, OSCE, long case examination and Standardised Case Based Discussions. Provide pastoral care, monitor student progress and behaviour, and support students at academic or professional risk. Contribute to evaluation, tutor recruitment, communication of curricular changes, and school and department committees. You may be a great fit if you: Hold a medical degree registrable in Victoria and maintain a contemporary clinical role at Western Health. Demonstrate substantial experience teaching entry-to-practice medical or health professional students in clinical settings. Bring strong expertise in developing, delivering and evaluating medical curricula and assessment across multiple MD years. Navigate complex curricula and diverse stakeholder groups with excellent verbal, written, organisational and problem-solving skills. Engage actively with initiatives that advance student equity, diversity, wellbeing and professional behaviour.
