Senior Regional Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the System Development Manager to research, design and manage engineering process and infrastructure supporting new services and solutions for Digital Intelligent Building Management System (BMS) across Southeast Asia and India.
• Plan, test and evaluate engineering process and infrastructure, identifying opportunities for modifications to ensure quality assurance and operational excellence.
• Develop technical documentation, including engineering manuals and deployment guides to support the rollout of products and solutions in the region.
• Troubleshoot Azbil products, providing onsite support for maintenance and resolving technical issues effectively.
• Gather and analyse stakeholder feedback from internal team and external clients to drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and solutions.
• Establish business process standards and quality control guidelines to enhance consistency, reliability and efficiency in BMS engineering operations.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered for exceptional candidates
• Minimum 5 years in Building Management System (BMS) engineering, with strong expertise in SCADA (preferred), PLC or DDC
• Strong understanding of BMS fundamentals, communication
• protocols (BACnet and Modbus preferred), and IP network technologies
• Experience in the building automation industry and a strong professional network are advantageous Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation abilities, with proven track record of stakeholder engagement.
• Fluency in English and Japanese, both written and spoken, for effective communication with HQ in Japan, and for developing English and Japanese technical documentation.
