About the role

YOU WILL SERVE AS A LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST IN THE MISSIONS SYSTEMS GROUP, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT OF NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. This position supports the Airborne Electronic Attack program office (PMA-234) as the Next Generation Jammer-Low Band (NGJ-LB) Deputy Assistant Program Manager, Logistics (DAPML). Incumbent is accountable to the MGJ-LB APML, IPTL, and PMA-234 PSM for all logistic requirements for this system. The NGJ-LB program is a fast-paced, early development Major ACAT I program. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1). Build life cycle logistic support structure to mature development into fleet induction and into sustainment; 2) Effectively communicate and interface with a variety of internal IPTs as well as external subject matter experts and contractors involved in the program; 3) Close coordination with host platform for cradle to grave undertaking supported by a number of LEMs, CSS, and program office integration DAPML that reside in PMA-265 for: 4) Develop and implement product support and maintenance concepts/requirements for assigned systems to achieve program goals and objectives with minimum life cycle cost; 5) Determine best approach in planning and expending resources/funding to ensure adequate and affordable logistics support posture: 6) Assist in submission and defense of Integrated Product Support budgets and support cost information to achieve program goals and objectives: 7) Identify, plan and execute logistics efforts to ensure all aspects of the total systems life cycle (i.e. acquisition and sustainment) are in place to meet program requirements; 8) Ensure maintainability, readiness, supportability, and affordability through a series of Supportability Analysis; 9) Develop and review program technical documentation and providing input and direction on logistics/maintenance issues and requirements; 10) Participate in the Configuration Management Process by developing, reviewing and submitting all associated documentation in support of Engineering Change Proposals, Configuration Control Board (CCB) Presentations, and Technical Directives.
