Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

•  Support project by delivering project deliverables and completing project milestones
•  Responsible for configuration, installation of servers, networks and related hardware and software
•  Coordinate with external parties (including vendors) and customers for problem implementation and resolutions
•  Prepare and Participate in System Acceptance Tests (including security) with external vendors and customers
•  Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise
•  Develop and maintain technical and configuration documentation
•  Documenting and explaining network topologies, diagram and diagram
•  Prepare standard documentation Eg. SOW, system handover document, inventory etc
•  Provide technical support and incident response to the maintenance team.
• Technical Skill Sets:
• Operating Systems: Linux, CentOS, SUSE
• Networking: Dell, Cisco, routing, switching, TCP/IP
• Security & Firewall: Fortinet, firewall management
• Infrastructure Hardware: Fiber-optic transmission devices
• Big Data & Data Platform: Hadoop, HDFS, ZooKeeper, Cloudera, Hue, Apache
• Search & Analytics: Elasticsearch
• Operations & Support: System implementation, troubleshooting, system maintenance, production support
