About the role
Our client, a MAS-regulated financial services firm, is seeking a client-focused Senior Client Advisor to join its growing team. This role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with affluent and high-net-worth individuals, providing wealth and investment solutions, and supporting clients throughout their financial journey. Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and deepen relationships with affluent and high-net-worth clients.
- Understand clients' financial objectives and provide suitable wealth management, investment, and financial planning solutions.
- Conduct KYC, Client Due Diligence (CDD), ongoing reviews, and regulatory documentation in accordance with MAS requirements.
- Facilitate trade placements and coordinate investment transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Provide clients with timely market updates, investment insights, and recommendations tailored to their needs and risk profiles.
- Maintain a high standard of client service and build long-term relationships through proactive engagement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices as a Registered Representative.
- Support product education and training initiatives for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participate in business development initiatives, strategic projects, and special assignments as required.
- Handle administrative and operational matters related to client servicing and account maintenance.
Requirements
- Recognized university degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Relevant experience in wealth management, private banking, financial advisory, external asset management, or investment-related roles.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, wealth management solutions, and financial markets.
- Proven track record in client acquisition, relationship management, and business development.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented with a strong sales drive.
- Experience managing clients from Greater China, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, or other Southeast Asian markets is advantageous.
- Ability to travel regionally when required.
- Possess relevant CMFAS qualifications, including M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, and M9A (or equivalent), where applicable.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance requirements.
