Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly factory performance reviews, linking operational KPIs directly to P&L and cash impacts.
  • Ensure full accuracy and transparency of all factory cost reporting cycles, including monthly closes.
  • Drive gap identification and corrective action plans with plant managers to close performance deviations.
  • Monitor and report on key industrial metrics: Cost Per Ton (CPT), efficiency, and material waste.
  • Track and challenge factory-level headcount cost vs. plan, ensuring labour cost governance.
  • Factory Financial Partnering
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to plant managers, manufacturing engineers, and supply chain operations leaders.
  • Translate complex factory financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance operational stakeholders.
  • Support factory management in cost structure decisions: make-vs-buy, capacity utilisation, shift models, and overhead allocation.
  • Ensure robust financial oversight of ramp-ups, line changeovers, production transitions, and new product introductions.
  • Embed financial discipline within plant teams through coaching, training, and regular factory floor engagement.
  • Productivity & Savings Agenda
  • Support governance of the savings and productivity pipeline (UMS/BPCD) across factories and countries.
  • Ensure delivery, validation, traceability, and sustainability of savings in the P&L.
  • Support prioritization of cost reduction initiatives based on value creation and operational ROI.
  • Partner with industrial engineering and plant teams to quantify and track improvement initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Procurement to align priorities and cost assumptions.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to plant leadership and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Present production cost results and factory financial performance to regional and global Finance leadership.
  • REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant hands-on experience in Supply Chain Finance, Controlling and Performance.
  • Direct experience working with plant teams and factory operations in an FMCG, industrial, or manufacturing context.
  • Deep knowledge of industrial costing: standard costing, variance analysis, overhead absorption, and cost of goods manufactured.
  • Strong experience with SAP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Advanced financial modelling capabilities (NPV, IRR, DCF, Payback).
  • Proficiency in financial planning, forecasting, and factory performance reporting.
  • Strong digital and analytical capabilities, including advanced Excel and BI tools.
  • Strong factory-floor financial acumen and operational mindset.
  • Ability to translate numbers into operational decisions and actions.
  • High level of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence plant managers and senior operational stakeholders.
