About the role
You will join a team dedicated to enabling data‑driven decision making across ING's Retail organization. We work closely with Sales, Retail Tribes and technical teams, fostering a collaborative, learning‑oriented environment. Your day to day Execute and maintain comprehensive reporting tools ( Microsoft Excel & Power BI ), providing actionable insights for Private Individuals sales performance management. Execute the monthly commissioning process for assisted sales channels sales force, ensuring SOX compliance. Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Monitor and analyze retail sales KPIs, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities to support business objectives. Communicate findings effectively to stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations that drive data- driven decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Private Individuals Tribes, IT, Data) to ensure seamless integration of new tools and data sources. Provide ad-hoc analyses and insights to support strategic decisions and commercial initiatives. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards in all reporting and migration activities. Stay ahead of industry trends and technology updates (including AI data driven analysis tools), recommending improvements to reporting models and data management practices. Support budgeting and forecasting exercises by delivering accurate and timely data insights. Act as an enabler for business KPIs, ensuring that performance management tools align with strategic goals. What you bring to the team University Degree Advanced SQL skills - ability to extract, transform, and validate data from complex sources. Power BI expertise is a plus - we are building & maintaining dashboards to provide impactful reporting tools, intuitive visual storytelling that turns complex sales KPIs into effective business decisions. Data testing and validation skills - ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data outputs. Vision to connect the dots - design effective data usage processes that optimize performance management and support KPI delivery at sales channel level. Analytical and strategic thinking - interpret data trends, identify opportunities, and propose improvements that drive business impact. Strong communication and collaboration - engage confidently with stakeholders across Sales, Private Individuals Tribes, BI, and IT to influence decisions and ensure smooth execution.
