About the role

Why We Built Lyric: Supply chains are more critical and complex than ever. Every day, large enterprises navigate trillions of possible decisions that could impact the bottom line. Powerful algorithms and AI can address these problems, yet most organizations struggle to leverage supply chain AI at scale. The current SCM technologies are either rigid, limited-scope point solutions or custom solutions built in-house, which demand immense expertise and investment. That is...until now. Enter Lyric : Lyric is an enterprise AI platform built specifically for supply chains, offering the best of both worlds: Out-of-the-box AI solutions for optimizing networks, allocating inventory, scheduling routes, planning fulfillment capacity, promising orders, propagating demand, building predictions, analyzing scenarios, and more, plus A platform-first approach that empowers both business and technical users with end-to-end product composability, leveraging no-code tools, their own code, or even forking our code to build and refine supply chain decision intelligence With Lyric, enterprises no longer have to choose between flexibility and speed, they get both. The Mission: We're building a new era in supply chain with the team best equipped to lead it. With over 20 years at the intersection of supply chain and algorithms, we developed a deep conviction that global supply chains needed something like Lyric. Since our inception in December 2021, that conviction has been validated time and time again. Today, a growing number of Fortune 500 companies, including Smurfit WestRock, Estée Lauder, Coca-Cola, and more, are innovating on their own terms with Lyric. We can't wait to see what our customers, both current and future, are empowered to build with us next. Come build with us! We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to own how our AI-first supply chain platform looks, feels, and tells stories through data. Lyric is a decision-intelligence platform for the supply chain. Teams use Lyric Studio to solve genuinely hard problems - inventory planning, network design, order forensics, transportation optimization - with ML and mathematical optimization under the hood. Your job is to make all of that complexity feel simple, coherent, and powerful. This is a high-ownership seat on a deliberately lean, growing design team. You'll drive work end-to-end and bring a point of view - not wait to be handed tasks or asked to pick between three versions. 🧩 What You'll Do Own the look and feel. Drive the platform's visual experience, with a primary focus on dashboards, widgets, and data visualizations - how they work, how they're configured, and how they communicate. Tell stories with data. Turn complex, data-heavy workflows into clear stories. Know when a metric wants a donut, a bar, or both - and always tie the visual back to the business outcome it serves. Drive design end-to-end. From uncovering the real problem and asking the right questions, to a defensible direction, to a polished, shipped result. Partner across the company. Work with product, engineering, and customer success to stand up sharp, compelling experiences - including custom demos when the moment calls for it. Reason about outcomes. Think in terms of conversion, information architecture, and business value - on top of making things genuinely beautiful. 🧠 What You Bring

Requirements

  • A strong visual instinct. Aesthetics matter a lot here - you can make something look genuinely good, and you trust your eye.
  • A data-storytelling sense. You think about what a chart should say , not just what it should show.
  • High agency. You research, decide, and defend a direction - you don't offer a menu for someone else to pick from.
  • End-to-end ownership. You treat scope as yours to figure out, comfortable taking a problem from zero to one and from one to ten.
  • Product and business sense. You solve for the right answer first; implementation constraints are a separate problem to work through, not a reason to box in the design.
  • A portfolio of complex, data-driven B2B / enterprise product work, with at least one strong before/after story you can walk us through.
  • Fluency in Figma.
  • The trajectory we like
  • AI-forward instincts. We still design in Figma, but how we operate has shifted meaningfully - you're comfortable using AI for research, documentation, and presentations, and excited about where design is heading.
  • Experience with AI-ready design systems at the code level: tokenizing, standardizing, and writing the "contracts" that describe how components and tokens compose.
  • Front-end / prototyping chops (HTML, CSS, JS) to bring first versions to life.
  • B
