Future Secure AI builds AI Co‑Workers that execute real operational work, not demos. We design and deploy applied AI systems that automate decisions, augment teams, and scale reliably in production. We are scaling fast and we need someone who can keep our engineering squads performing at their best as we grow.This is not a traditional HR role. It sits at the intersection of people, delivery, and capability working directly alongside our Director of Delivery to ensure our engineers are well supported, well resourced, and set up to do the best work of their careers. You will be the connective tissue across DevOps, QA, Business Analysis, Scrum Masters, AI Engineering, Data Science, and Software Engineering ensuring teams do not just deliver, but deliver well and sustainably.
Responsibilities
- Squad & Workforce Operations
- Partner with the Director of Delivery to manage squad composition, resourcing, and capacity planning across engineering teams
- Monitor workload distribution and squad health - escalate risks early and propose practical solutions
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and internal mobility across squads
- Recruitment & Talent Pipeline
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure engineering pipelines are healthy, diverse, and aligned to squad needs
- Participate in shortlisting, screening, and interviewing across engineering, data, AI, QA, DevOps, and delivery roles
- Track recruitment progress and hiring timelines - keeping the Director of Delivery across every step
- People & Capability Development
- Support engineers with career conversations, development planning, and progression pathways
- Facilitate capability uplift initiatives and identify opportunities for coaching and cross-squad learning
- Partner with People and Culture to ensure performance expectations and growth frameworks are embedded
- Delivery Support & Team Enablement
- Act as a trusted partner to Scrum Masters, Tech Leads, and Product Owners
- Help remove delivery blockers related to people, process, or resourcing
- Provide operational continuity across squads during periods of rapid growth and change
- Culture, Engagement & Wellbeing
- Foster a psychologically safe, inclusive, and high performance engineering culture
- Monitor team sentiment and wellbeing - surface insights and partner on interventions
- Champion continuous improvement and honest feedback loops
- Operational Excellence & Governance
- Maintain accurate workforce, recruitment, and capability data to support planning and reporting
- Contribute to delivery governance including squad health metrics and workforce insights
- Support compliance with engineering standards, quality practices, and organisational policies
