Responsibilities

  • The ATG Cyclotron Operator's principal responsibilities are:
  • Safe operation of all accelerators, target stations, the target transfer system and subsystems in the isotope production facilities

  • NUCLEAR ENERGY WORKER:
  • The incumbent will be required to complete the TRIUMF in-house radiation safety training course and be designated as a TRIUMF Nuclear Energy Worker.
  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
  • Graduate from a relevant engineering technology program at a technical college in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or robotics, or a relevant undergraduate degree in related science or engineering discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in operations, or a combination of equivalent education and experience with electro-mechanical systems.
  • Applicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident).

The position offers a starting salary of $ 56,494.00 per annum, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
