This position, the coordinator of the Cheshire Academy of Lifelong Learning (CALL) coordinates the CALL program which includes scheduling, hiring for, and publicizing fall and spring CALL courses. This is a year-round, half-time position (20 hours/week). Duties/Responsibilities Program Development (25%) Design and implement a schedule of non-credit courses tailored to the interests and needs of adult learners in the community. Collaborate with faculty and community experts to create engaging course content. Course Coordination (20%) Schedule and coordinate classes, ensuring all logistical aspects (classrooms, materials, technology) are in place. Facilitate communication between instructors, students, and administrative staff. Enrollment Management (15%) Oversee the registration process, including marketing strategies to attract participants. Maintain accurate records of enrollment and course evaluations. Budget Management: (15%) Assist in developing and managing the program budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Community Engagement: (15%) Build relationships with local organizations, senior centers, and community groups to promote program offerings. Organize special events, workshops, and guest lectures to enhance the learning experience. Support and Advising: (5%) Provide guidance and support to participants regarding course selection and facilitate communications with instructors. Assessment and Reporting: (5%) Collect and analyze feedback from participants and instructors to assess program effectiveness. Prepare reports for stakeholders and suggest improvements based on findings.
