Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Quality Leadership
- Define and drive QA strategies across storage, cloud-native, and distributed environments.

- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on monitoring, debugging, and improving resilience.
- Mentorship & Collaboration
- Mentor junior QA engineers and developers in advanced testing techniques and automation practices.
- Serve as the QA authority in design reviews, incident retrospectives, and production readiness assessments.
- Work with geographically distributed teams on technical challenges and continuous quality improvements.
- Experience: 7-10+ years in software testing or quality engineering, with 4+ years in Kubernetes, storage systems, or distributed cloud-native applications.
- Programming & Automation: Strong skills in Python and shell scripting (Bash); experience with Pytest and test automation frameworks.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Kubernetes (internals, cluster lifecycle, Helm, service meshes).
- Storage subsystems (SAN, NAS, Object, SDS).
- Linux/UNIX environments (networking, system administration, debugging).
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and Git.
- REST APIs and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).
- Soft Skills: Excellent English communication (written and verbal), leadership in cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving and architectural thinking.
- Preferred Extras
- Experience with OpenStack and public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Contributions to open-source QA or Kubernetes projects.
- Familiarity with chaos engineering and performance benchmarking tools (e.g., K6).
- Relevant certifications (CKA, CKAD, AWS DevOps Engineer)
