About the role

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (AFLOAT NETWORKS) in the Engineering Department of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical assistance for mission-degrading Casualty Reports, and/or technical assistance affecting assigned ships subsystems to diagnose, correct, and restore combat readiness, AND Evaluating, Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and/or testing new or modernized shipboard systems for operation of major afloat networks and their subsystems, AND Providing technical guidance on software and hardware systems (e.g., Fiber Attached Storage (FAS), Microsoft Server Update Service (WSUS), Host Based Security System (HBSS), Naval Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS), Consolidated Afloat Networks and/or Enterprise Services (CANES), etc.).
