Job Description: Job Description ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Performs clinical services including intakes and a variety of therapy programs and techniques such as group, individual, and family therapy, expressive therapy, crisis intervention, psychodrama and modeling. Maintains and completes service documentation such as psychosocial assessments, case notes, case reviews, court reports, letters, etc., according to prescribed standards. Conducts case reviews and determines current and future treatment and treatment planning based upon resulting quantitative results and professional opinion of client progress. Collaborates with external agents including CHR, school officials, family members, physicians, and other health agencies, regarding organizational programs and client needs and conditions. Attends and participates in staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, case conferences, and clinical seminars providing information relating to program administration and development. Writes correspondence on behalf of clients and their families such as court reports, letters of recommendation, etc. Conducts case presentations and consultations with other agencies regarding programs and services offered. Administers a variety of psychological testing, analyzes test results, and conducts related counseling with clients. As needed, develops, coordinates, and consults regarding psychological assessment to include conducting clinical histories, behavioral observations and provision and interpretation and written integration of psychological testing. Participates in training and receives education on continuing professional development issues including; assessment, intervention, consultation, policy making, program design and implementation, provision of supervision, and clinical research. networking with community providers to assure appropriate referrals, assisting with service linkages Provides assistance to JCIC training director with regards to administrative issues of the internship including; facilitating trainings/seminars, assisting with group supervision, managing rotations, consulting on aspects of clinical work and psychological assessment. Incumbents may be requested to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description. EDUCATION Doctoral Degree in Psychology. (e.g. Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D.) . Licensed as a Temporary Licensed Psychologist by Kentucky's board of psychology.
