Requirements

• Diploma in Mechatronic or Mechanical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Ability to diagnose and repair complex systems
• Able to adapt and work under tight schedule
• Able to communicate effectively with customers
• Strong analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Basic IT experience is preferred
• Possess class 3 driving license
• 24 X 7 standby and needs to be on site
• Singaporeans only
• Work location: Ang Mo Kio
• 1 year agency contract

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Engineer to support our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery and equipment. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong technical foundation and is eager to learn and grow within a maintenance engineering environment. The Assistant Engineer will assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. Job: Assist senior engineers in routine maintenance tasks and repairs on equipment Perform in house repair of Electro optics equipment Aid in diagnosing and addressing minor issues promptly to reduce downtime Help carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition Record maintenance activities accurately, including repairs, replacements, and inspections, under the guidance of senior engineers Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulations; actively maintain a safe working environment Assist in managing spare parts inventory, notifying senior staff of low stock and needed reorders Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to complete tasks and support the overall maintenance strategy
