Specialized experience is defined as work that demonstrates: - Knowledge of athletic training/exercise physiology principles to assess, analyze, and design physical fitness or injury prevention programs. - Clinical knowledge to evaluate and manage musculoskeletal injuries - Experience developing human performance programs, conducting physical assessments, or implementing rehabilitation protocols. Incumbent to possess and maintain certification as an athletic trainer from the National Athletic Trainer's Association's Board of Certification.
