Junior Cost Estimator

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction or similar
• Preferred two or more years as a Junior Estimator or Project Engineer for commercial construction projects
• Experience with large commercial and industrial projects
• Experience with full project scoping, estimating, and bidding on civil, structural/envelope, finishes, MEP/FP, building equipment and specialties
• Knowledge of general construction practices for commercial and civil projects, means and methods, standard industry practices
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents
• Ability to collaborate, communicate efficiently, and function well within a team-oriented environment including internal staff, consultant teams, client representatives, contractors, and jurisdictional representatives.
• Strong computer skills and a familiarity with Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite , and estimating software. Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, or estimating programs is a plus.
• Ability to work concurrently on different projects in varying phases of development and meet established deadlines.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to evaluate pricing, analyze scope, and ensure accurate, well-aligned cost information throughout each project phase. You will collaborate with our team of experienced cost estimators while gaining exposure to a wide range of project types and markets. This is a full-time, long-term position.
