Grosvenor Mine As a Warehouse Officer, you will contribute to the effective operation of Grosvenor Mine's Warehouse functions, with a strong commitment to safe working practices. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your primary focus is to perform warehouse duties relating to the control of inventory, direct charge purchases, vendor-held stock, consignment spares and consumables. You will be required to provide customer service to end-users to ensure timely and effective provision of goods and provide support for specific customer needs. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting in the receipting, storage, protection and distribution of the Company's assets. Maintain the warehouse facilities to provide a safe, neat and clean working environment. Operate a Forklift and other required equipment safely. Ensuring correct parts and quantity are retrieved. Perform tasks within accordance with current productivity levels. Packing of parts in a safe and secure manner. Ensuring parts are sent to the correct location. Meeting customer delivery deadlines. Monitor procurement, shipping and delivery of materials. Responsible for the shipping, tracking and receipt of all incoming materials in conjunction with other members of the procurement team. Keep the project team well informed of any changes or updates in material and project resource availability. Assisting with the development, implementation and ongoing adherence to processes, procedures and company policies that ensure cost-effective and timely movement of materials and supplies. Communication of lead-times, delays and other factors affecting deliverables of projects from a materials availability perspective. Overseeing inventory/stock control. Valid Driver's License (preferably a Manual Light Vehicle). Certificate III Warehousing & Logistics or similar experience. Hold a current forklift LF high risk licence essential. Experience working in a warehouse/procurement environment. Previous warehouse experience within a mining or heavy industrial environment is advantageous. EWP, and experience with Microsoft Office suite is desirable. Experience utiltising SAP for warehouse functions is desirable. The ability to interpret maintenance parts as well as knowledge of other mine site consumables will be well regarded.
