This division prosecutes significant felony and misdemeanor crimes and works closely with individuals and agencies to pursue justice on behalf of the State. This role offers the opportunity to handle meaningful criminal prosecutions representing the State prosecuting criminal cases in state trial courts throughout Nebraska. As an Assistant Attorney General in the Criminal Bureau, you will build significant courtroom experience, take on complex criminal-law issues, and help protect Nebraskans. Researching issues of criminal law, writing briefs and memoranda, conducting pretrial hearings, negotiations and trials all in the pursuit of successful prosecutions.
