We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Underwriting Analyst (Term) to support the TPA underwriting team in preparation of client reviews. This role will focus on analyzing program performance, producing standardized reporting, and driving process improvements. A key objective of the position is to help transition manual reporting processes toward automation and scalable solutions. This is a fixed-term position, with potential for extension or permanent, dependent on business needs. The Associate Underwriting Analyst - TPA will: Prepare and deliver TPA program reviews , including performance summaries, loss trends, pricing adequacy, and key metrics Aggregate and validate data from TPAs, internal systems to ensure data integrity and consistency Produce recurring reports (every 3/6/10 months) to support portfolio monitoring and client discussions Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for underwriting and leadership teams Develop and maintain standardized templates and reporting tools to improve efficiency and consistency Identify process gaps and partner with stakeholders to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort Support the design and implementation of automation solutions (e.g., dashboarding, automated data pipelines, report generation) Document existing reporting processes and contribute to the development of future-state automated frameworks Assist with ad hoc analyses, audits, and special projects related to TPA performance and underwriting strategy To be successful as a Associate Underwriting Analyst - TPA with People Corporation, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics, or related field 1-3 years of experience in insurance underwriting, TPA program management, or insurance analytics/reporting Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation); ability to work with large datasets Exposure to automation tools or programming (e.g., VBA, Power Automate, Python, SQL) is an asset Strong attention to detail with the ability to reconcile and validate multiple data sources Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Analytical and data-driven mindset Continuous improvement and automation focus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Success Measures High-quality, timely delivery of TPA underwriting reviews Improved consistency and standardization of reporting outputs Measurable reduction in manual processing time through automation
