This position is responsible for the overall performance of the Fort Collins Brewing Operation, including EHS, Quality , Product Delivery, and Productivity outcomes. The position is also responsible for leadership development, budgeting, process improvement, and strategic planning for the department. Essential Duties: Creates and executes a vision for the future for the brewing group Drives innovation, quality, and efficiency; focusing efforts on capabilities, opportunities and barriers Leads, coaches and mentors staff and supervisors Leads development of relevant business planning including team involvement in company initiatives and generation of department initiatives Prepares, prioritizes and justifies requests for resources; ensure timely and sufficient supply of materials Prepares and manages the financial budget; ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting Collect, analyze, communicate, and monitors performance metrics for continuous improvement and innovation Lead, troubleshoot, and resolve all coworker, systemic, and equipment related problems in brewing area Responsible for the health and safety of brewing coworkers and equipment Participates with other Managers to develop consistent management systems Responsible for the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Guidelines Other duties as assigned Education/ Experience/Skills: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with at least five (5) years of on-the-job experience in a supervisory role - Solid knowledge of Brewing Science - Solid working knowledge and working experience with brewing equipment involved in set up, adjustments, and efficient operation - Good project management skills - Proven leadership skills and abilities - Solid computer skills (Word, Excel) - Ability to plan own work and the work of others and lead work groups or teams - Ability to interpret, understand, and enforce policies and procedures - Ability to transform strategic plan into actionable tasks - Solid verbal and written communication skills Percent of Travel: 0-10% Working Conditions: Office, Production Areas Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell's and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
