Go Maverick Group has a family-owned client comprised of four affiliated brands serving Northeast Ohio through landscape design, construction, property management, outdoor living, material supply, and commercial snow and ice management services. As they enter their next stage of growth, they are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Director of Marketing & Brand Growth to build and lead the marketing function across their organizations. This newly created leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape brand strategy, drive customer acquisition, elevate market visibility, and create a scalable marketing engine that supports long-term business growth. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and doer-someone who can think big, execute effectively, and leverage data-driven insights to deliver measurable results. Working closely with the leadership team, the Director of Marketing & Brand Growth will serve as the architect of their marketing ecosystem, developing innovative campaigns, strengthening brand positioning, generating qualified leads, and creating meaningful customer engagement across each brand. Key Responsibilities Include: Marketing Strategy & Growth Leadership Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for four landscape-related companies that drive business growth, customer acquisition, and brand awareness. Create annual marketing plans, budgets, performance goals, and growth initiatives aligned with company objectives. Collaborate with ownership and leadership teams to identify opportunities for market expansion, customer growth, and revenue generation. Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to ensure continued market relevance and competitive advantage. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting on marketing effectiveness, lead quality, conversion rates, and return on investment. Demand Generation & Digital Marketing Own the customer acquisition strategy across digital and traditional marketing channels. Develop and optimize lead generation programs utilizing paid search, paid social, email marketing, local SEO, referral marketing, and content marketing. Build marketing funnels and customer journeys that convert prospects into qualified sales opportunities. Analyze campaign performance and consumer behavior to continuously improve results, efficiency, and customer engagement. Brand Strategy & Market Positioning Ensure a consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints. Strengthen brand awareness through storytelling, community involvement, public relations, sponsorships, strategic partnerships, trade shows, and local events. Protect and enhance the reputation of each brand while identifying opportunities for differentiation and growth. Content & Customer Engagement Develop and oversee content strategies that bring each brand to life through compelling storytelling and customer-focused messaging. Manage social media strategy, editorial calendars, and audience engagement across. Oversee the creation of marketing assets including photography, video, customer testimonials, project showcases, blogs, email campaigns, and promotional materials. Ensure a consistent brand voice while highlighting the unique value proposition of each company. Website Management Oversee website strategy, content, functionality, user experience, and ongoing optimization across all company websites. Manage SEO initiatives, landing page development, website analytics, and conversion optimization efforts. Ensure websites accurately represent company services, capabilities, and brand standards. Marketing Operations & Vendor Management Manage relationships with external agencies, web developers, photographers, videographers, media partners, and marketing vendors. Evaluate marketing technologies, software, and automation tools to improve efficiency and performance. Recommend and implement scalable processes that support future growth. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 5+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated success in digital marketing, brand management and lead generation. Experience managing multiple brands, service lines or business units. Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content strategy, SEO, social media, paid advertising, and lead generation. Proven ability to create an overall marketing strategy used to guide various initiatives. Well-versed tracking, analyzing, and interpreting marketing performance metrics. Exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands-on execution. Experience with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools. Confident creating and managing marketing budgets, as well as external partners as needed.
