Responsibilities
- Assists in supervising the day-to-day performance of AV Systems Installation Technicians in all operational areas, including: planning, effective preparation, logistics, and job site tasks.

- Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or GED
- Technical Schooling in AV or IT specific field/s
- Skills comparable to four years of experience in the skilled construction and maintenance of audio/visual equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools, soldering iron, crimpers, multimeters, signal generators, and testers.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to troubleshoot and assist with the commissioning of AV systems of varying size and complexity.
- Skills comparable to one year of project management in a technical field.
- Demonstrated skilled use of various industry standard computer applications for project management.
- This position requires the ability to drive a university vehicle.
- Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction or management field
- More than 6 years of work experience in audio visual systems design and installation.
- More than 2 years in AV or IT project management at an enterprise level.
- Demonstrated experience with construction project management software such as Fieldwire, Procore, BIM360
- OSHA 10+ hour course training.
- CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D certification.
