Waking Nights Support Worker

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support
• Be there in the night if the young people need you
• Keep essential records and maintain care plans
• Be an active listener ensuring each child is treated as an individual - we don't do a one size fits all approach

Requirements

• Previous experience is preferred or maybe you have cared for a friend or family member
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Open to ongoing development and learning with help from your friendly team
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Someone with the desire to take pride in helping others
• Must be able to work night shifts but you will always have a work/life balance
• Preferably hold a Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential or Workforce or committed to developing to enrol once in post

Children's Residential Support Worker Waking Nights Location: Norton Canes, Cannock Pay: £28,997 based on 37.5 hours per week Shift times will be 8pm to 8am and alternate weekends. These will be planned in advance ensuring a flexible work/life balance.
