Requirements

  • Previous experience is preferred or maybe you have cared for a friend or family member
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Open to ongoing development and learning with help from your friendly team
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Someone with the desire to take pride in helping others
  • Must be able to work night shifts but you will always have a work/life balance
  • Preferably hold a Level 3 or 4 in Children's Residential or Workforce or committed to developing to enrol once in post

Additional Information

Children's Residential Support Worker Waking Nights Location: Norton Canes, Cannock Pay: £28,997 based on 37.5 hours per week Shift times will be 8pm to 8am and alternate weekends. These will be planned in advance ensuring a flexible work/life balance. At Inspire, being a Support Worker means more than a job - it's a chance to shape young lives. Based in our established and friendly home in Cannock, you'll support children and young people (ages 3 to 18) with learning disabilities to feel safe, valued and inspired. Waking night shifts will require daily interaction with our young people, assisting them with activities in and around the service, though less than a day shift would. Some days may be challenging, but every smile and every breakthrough makes it worthwhile.
