Assistant Student Care Mentor

About the role

As an Assistant Student Care Mentor, you will be working closely with children (7-12 years old) and make a positive difference in their lives. Your key responsibilities include: executing day to day operations in the centre ensuring safety and well-being of the children at all times assisting lead mentor(s) to provide guidance and supervision of children in their school and other academic assignments coaching and testing children for their school spellings assisting in the preparation and co-conducting in-house enrichment curriculum with quality building a positive and respectful relationship with children managing and guiding children to develop positive habits and mannerisms executing holiday activities or special events for the children during school holidays other related duties as assigned by the Centre Supervisor or Manager Requirements: - Passionate in reaching out and empowering primary school children Ability to manage a group of 10 to 15 children using positive management strategies Ability to coach or guide children in their academics assignments Enjoys working in a high-energy and dynamic environment Has good interpersonal skills and is a good team player Independent, observant, organized, responsible and takes initiative Open to learning new skills and be trained Minimum GCE 'O' level Some relevant working experience preferred Working hours: 1.30 pm to 6 pm, Mondays to Fridays
