Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term social media strategies aligned with institutional goals, brand positioning, and reputation management.

  • Coordinate with team members to ensure cohesive and high-quality content production.
  • Monitor social media trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve strategy and execution.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance; develop KPI dashboards and provide actionable insights.
  • Provide training and guidance to faculty and staff to support effective social media use across the university.
  • Manage social media takeovers and community engagement initiatives.
  • Support crisis communications by sharing timely updates and monitoring social channels.
  • Ensure all content is accurate, timely, visually engaging, and aligned with institutional messaging and brand standards.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, and at least one year of marketing, communications, or related experience with social media management.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, audiences, and analytics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and respond to time-sensitive needs.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with digital content creation.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant applications used for graphic design, photo editing, and content production.

  • Experience in higher education or similarly complex organizations.
