About the role
Salary: up to $13000 Working Days & Hours: Monday - Friday - Office Hours Location: Macpherson Job Description: - Responsible for the management of all aspects of the financial, accounting, taxation, information technology and reporting functions of the Company. - Review and enhance internal controls and procedures as part of continuous process improvement to achieve best practices and optimal output and ensure proper monitoring and enforcement are in place for these. - Support payroll function, including providing end user support for EPE payroll processing system operations, extracting, analyzing and summarizing payroll data for journalizing on a monthly basis as well as for ad-hoc and statutory statistics requirements. - Extract, reconcile, prepare and electronically transmit employees' income details (IR8A) to IRAS on an annual basis. - Submit and follow up on NSmen's make-up pay claims and liaise with NS Pay Centres. - Oversee the statutory audit, review and analyze results, check the consolidation work papers and deferred tax computation, prepare the corporate tax computation and draft financial statements, and recommend for approval the final audit adjustments and audited financial statements. - Prepare approved audited financial statements in XBRL format for filing with ACRA. - Review monthly accounts after closing and prepare MTD/YTD comparative Profit and Loss Accounts for management. Also prepare monthly Sales and Profitability Reports (Export and Local) by items for management. - Carry out regular reviews of raw and packaging materials pricing and recommend standard cost revisions on a quarterly basis. - Manage and maintain ongoing banking relationships, and liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, Enterprise Singapore and relevant government agencies. - Handle corporate income tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax, GST and property tax matters, including liaising and coordinating with tax consultants on tax preparation work and attending to IRAS' queries. - Act as CorpPass Administrator to manage the digital service access of employees who need to perform corporate transactions on Singapore Government's e-Portals. - Coordinate and follow up on the application of government grants, including investment allowances. - Provide support and assistance to other departments on financial and IT-related matters. - Oversee the work and development of staff members, including IT staff. - Review, consolidate and recommend to management on refreshing existing systems (hardware and software) and services as proposed by IT staff. - Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, attending relevant courses, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional bodies. - Undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management, including cost reviews, identifying key trends and areas for action, feasibility studies, valuations and other finance-related assignments.
