Dev Ops Cloud Developer

Requirements

• 5+ years of software or cloud development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead cloud role and a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Deep hands-on experience with major cloud providers and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Advanced skills in Python, Java, or similar programming languages for cloud-native development.
• Expert in automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development.
• Proven experience building, deploying, and supporting mission-critical cloud applications.
• Ability to work on site 5 days a week and hold and maintain an active TS clearance
• Preferred Qualifications:
• IAM/IAT Level 3 Cert (CISM, CCSP, CASP, CISSP).
• Professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Zero Trust Architecture, serverless technologies, and event-driven design patterns.
• Familiarity with enterprise security frameworks and compliance (FedRAMP, NIST 800- 53, ISO 27001).

They will lead the design, development, deployment, and optimization of secure, scalable cloud solutions across the enterprise. This role shapes cloud architecture, automates cloud resource management, and enables delivery models such as Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS). This role requires the ability to work on site in Huntsville, AL and the ability to maintain an Active Top Secret Clearance. Salaries for a DevOps Cloud Developer at Planet Technologies range from $125,000 and $180,000.
