The Material Planner at Voyager Technologies is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the flow of materials and components to support production schedules and operational goals. This role ensures materials are available at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right cost-while minimizing inventory levels and waste. The Position reports to Manager, Supply Chain Management and is part of the Supply Chain Department. This role is On-Site based in San Diego, CA. Essential Functions Develop and maintain material requirements plans (MRP) aligned with production schedules and demand forecasts. Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to ensure on-time material availability. Monitor inventory levels, identify shortages or excesses, and take corrective actions to minimize disruptions. Analyze demand patterns and adjust planning parameters-including lead times, safety stock, and reorder points-accordingly. Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, expediting, and order confirmations. Generate and review planning reports, KPIs, and metrics to drive continuous improvement. Identify and resolve material discrepancies, over/under-stock situations, and supply chain bottlenecks. Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) meetings and cross-functional projects; support ERP system maintenance including item master data, BOMs, and routings as needed.
