We're seeking a full-time Housekeeper whose skills will help keep our beautiful senior living community clean, attractive, comfortable, and safe. More than a cleaner, you'll interact with residents to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness of apartments. Other duties may include laundry service and deep-cleaning amenity spaces throughout the community. This opportunity is for the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday are required as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs a variety of tasks which provide and maintain the cleanliness and safety of resident rooms/homes and common areas. Sanitize, vacuum, dust and perform trash removal, and maintain a clean, stocked housekeeping cart and closet. Coordinates daily housekeeping services with housekeeping management. Competently operates various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical. Changes bed linens according to established standards. Recognizes and promptly reports maintenance problems and unsafe acts or conditions. Notifies supervisor when supplies are low and demonstrates responsibility for the conservation of supplies, chemicals, equipment, and utilities. Identifies areas for improvement, proposes possible solutions, and participates in data collection and process changes as part of the Quality Assurance Process Improvement process. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Required: Ability to read and follow instructions to complete routine tasks and communicate in a friendly, responsive manner. Preferred: High school or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience. The hourly base wage range is a good faith estimate of the range Mather reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. The actual hourly base wage paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, geographic location and market changes. The position is also eligible to participate in Mather benefit plans and Employee Appreciation Fund. Hourly Pay Range $19.75 - $21 USD
