Project Assistant, HR Divisions (up $3100, 12 months!*)

Responsibilities

• Verify HR benefits claims such as medical and dental, conduct regular expense audits, and liaise with external parties.
• Prepare monthly salary and bonus payments, maintain payroll records, handle payroll accounting, billing, invoicing, and annual tax declarations
• Manage payroll billing communications with external organizations
• Respond to complex payroll and claims enquiries from line managers, employees, and auditors, and prepare reports for management and audit purposes
• Lead digitalisation and automation initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and governance within the unit
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for processes and operations within assigned portfolio
• Accurately update personnel, deployment, payroll, and claims data in HR systems such as Workday, Excelity, Erideon, and Resource Management System
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to identify and implement process improvements and operational enhancements
• Support the team in adopting and executing new workstreams as relevant
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Experience in payroll and expenses operations and/or compensation & benefits functions
• Familiarity with Workday HR functions and Excelity for payroll and expenses processing
• Strong numerical aptitude with meticulous attention to computation and calculation
• Ability to manage tasks calmly and effectively under time pressure
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
